McCaman Prayer Update: February 20, 2008
Dear Prayer Warriors:
Gary is back from Costa Rica. Classes were very challenging, but very helpful. The post work for both is extremely practical, so it should be fun to do.
Pray for good weather on Saturday. We are getting ready to pour the floor for the new addition to the building where our church meets.
Team Corrientes has hit the ground. You can read about it here: http://gbim.org/home/news_now.asp?newsID=820. There are lots of details facing the team. The González' (affectionately known as the Guguies) can't register their kids, or even know where there are vacancies until Feb 28, and school starts March 3rd. In addition to adjusting to really hot heat (after leaving really cold winter weather), the High's are battling the plagues of Corrientes (very similar to the plagues of Egypt, but slightly different): Cockroaches, crickets and frogs...in the house.
If your theology will permit, please pray for our sick kitty, Junior. If not, then pray for us as we deal with our pet of 9 years who has developed severe liver and kidney damage. Compared to the problems of the world, it's pretty small. But it's still hard.
